When you love nature and you enjoy food and cooking, you want your honeymoon to be the best of both. That’s why we decided to send Armine and Adnan to a place rich in natural beauty and famous for its phenomenal local cuisine.
After weeks of waiting while we planned in secret, they opened their first envelope and found out where they were heading: Bali!
The beautiful Indonesian island of Bali is home to volcanoes, coral reefs, mountains and stunning beaches. It is also known for delicious cuisine celebrating local flavors and local produce, including mouth-watering seafood. In other words, it’s a place that was perfect for Armine and Adnan’s blind honeymoon.
We wanted to show Armine and Adnan the best Bali has on offer through a carefully planned itinerary, and give them a honeymoon they’d cherish forever.
First up, they flew from New York to Denpasar, home of rice paddies, rainforests, plenty of culture and even more food. They enjoyed a surprise picnic by the river in the tranquil Hanging Gardens.
They visited Karangasem and then paid a visit to the idyllic Gili Trawangan, the largest of the Gili Islands. Here they enjoyed an incredible snorkelling trip with Eko, the best in the business, and swam with turtles in the ocean.
Last stop on the itinerary was the breathtaking Bingin Beach, which offers unparalleled views of the ocean. Armine and Adnan had the chance to try their hand at surfing with their very own surfing lessons.
Then, it was back to New York, where Armine and Adnan could take some time to enjoy being newlyweds at home, look at their photos and reminisce over their adventures.
