Our latest honeymooners, Peter and Ashley, love a vacation that’s a perfect blend of fun and adventure, and rest and relaxation. They also love culture, food and exploring markets. With this wish-list in mind, we knew exactly where to send Peter and Ashley on their first adventure as a married couple… majestic India!
Setting out from their home in Los Angeles, we sent our lovebirds across the globe for a blind honeymoon they’ll never forget. First stop on the journey was Delhi, India’s bustling capital city where Peter and Ashley had plenty of time to explore the sights, mix with locals and taste-test some local cuisine.
To check culture off their wish-list, we surprised our happy couple with a trip to Agra where they embarked on a Blind Activity tour of the revered Taj Mahal. For even more culture, we also sent Peter and Ashley wandering through a monastery in Bylakuppe in the Mysore region, and to the stunning Amber Fort, a breathtaking palace in Jaipur. As for markets, we made sure Peter and Ashley got their fix at the lively local street markets in Jaipur.
To keep their inner foodies happy, we surprised Ashley and Peter with plenty of culinary experiences including a walking food tour of Mysore and a visit to a coffee plantation. We also wowed the newlyweds with a New Year’s Eve gala dinner at their resort in the beautiful rural area of Coorg and a Blind Activity special dinner at The Machan, an incredible eco-resort complete with treehouses. Peter and Ashley also enjoyed a private romantic candlelit dinner facing the beach at Neeleshwar Hermitage. This exquisite beachside resort with its pool overlooking the ocean also meant Peter and Ashley could enjoy some downtime and
that golden rest and relaxation.
With another stop in Delhi before heading back to LA, Peter and Ashley flew home with happy hearts and memories they’ll cherish forever.
